Privacy Policy — AdMonitor

This Privacy Policy explains what information AdMonitor accesses, why, and how it is handled.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

1. Who we are

AdMonitor ("the App", "we", "us") is an independent reporting tool that lets a Google AdMob publisher view their own account's ad revenue data. AdMonitor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

2. Information we access

You connect the App using "Sign in with Google", Google's official OAuth login, opened in your device's system browser (not an embedded webview). You sign in directly on Google's own page — the App never sees or stores your Google password.

Through this connection, the App requests a single, read-only scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admob.readonly. This lets us fetch your AdMob accounts, apps, ad units, and revenue/mediation/country reports. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive files, or any other Google data.

How the OAuth tokens are handled

After you approve access on Google's login page, our backend server exchanges the authorization code for a Google access token and refresh token.

These tokens are used solely to make authenticated, read-only requests to Google's AdMob Reporting API on your behalf, in order to display your dashboards inside the App.

Report data caching

To keep the App responsive and avoid excessive calls to Google's API, fetched report data (revenue summaries, app/ad unit/mediation/country breakdowns) is temporarily cached on our server (a small database used purely as a cache, not as a permanent data store) for a short period, and also cached locally on your device.

3. How we use your information

4. Advertising data (the App shows its own ads)

To keep the App free, AdMonitor itself displays ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded), including an optional rewarded ad you can watch to unlock certain sections (e.g. detailed breakdowns or a 2nd linked AdMob account) for a limited time. These ads may be served through Google AdMob and/or AppLovin MAX mediation.

These ad networks may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address/approximate location, and ad interaction data, under their own privacy policies:

This advertising activity is separate from, and unrelated to, the read-only AdMob reporting data described in Section 2.

5. Compliance with Google's requirements

AdMonitor's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through the AdMob Reporting API is used only to provide the reporting features visible to you within the App, is not used for advertising purposes, and is not transferred to any third party except as necessary to provide the App's core functionality or as required by law.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal or financial data to any third party.

7. Data security

All communication between the App, our backend, and Google's API is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Your Google password is never transmitted to or stored by us — authentication happens entirely on Google's own login page. Your refresh token is encrypted at rest within the session data stored on your device.

8. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

See our Delete Account & Data page for full instructions.

9. Children's privacy

AdMonitor is intended for use by app developers and publishers managing an AdMob account, and is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
